The Fern Bonnet is handmade from 100% American wool. This simple, yet timeless little bonnet is the cutest addition to your little one's everyday wardrobe. This bonnet features a ribbed brim and solid body with knit ties for an under-the-chin bow to keep this bonnet in place on your babe's little head. This bonnet is the perfect neutral style for those surprise gender births and for mothers who want to save bonnets for future babies.
How to measure for your baby's bonnet/hat: you will want to measure the circumference of the largest part of your child's head. Each bonnet will have an element of stretch to them because they are hand knit, so typically you will want to size up if your child is between sizes.

All of the knits in our store are designed and handcrafted by us. We use no machines in the process of creation. This guarantees a quality, handmade item that will be unique and last for years to come. We use 100% American wool, which some would think might be pretty scratchy, but it is the softest and most beautiful yarn on the market. Because of this style of production, knit pieces generally take about 3-4 weeks to make, depending on workload; although it is worth the wait because you receive a handcrafted bonnet that is unique and not mass-produced.
There is the possibility that the color you order is out of stock. I will notify you if I am unable to get the color you ordered and you will have 2 choices:
1. Choose a different color. 2. Wait for the color to be back in stock with my supplier.
As with the incoming flow with orders, please allow up to 3-4 weeks for your piece to be completed.
