The LPO Difference
Why choose Little Pine Outfitters when there are so many other stores out there that make the same products?
- Attention to detail.
- Eco-friendly and allergen free materials.
- Handcrafted in the USA.
- Unique Design.
These are just a few of the reasons Little Pine Outfitters is the perfect choice! All of our products are handcrafted with quality materials and mindfulness for functionality and quality; not to mention for the health of the environment, you, and your loved ones.
Each item in our shop has been designed and handcrafted by us; no machines (other than our sewing machine!), warehouses, or 3rd party makers and distributers. How cool is that? You know where your product is coming from and the quality will speak for itself.
All materials used in the creating process are hand-picked for quality. We expect nothing but the best, so why shouldn't you? The best leather for moccs. The best wool yarn for knits. It's all here in this store!
Our store is one of the few out on the market that uses chrome-free vegetable tanned leather to make our baby moccasins. What is the difference from regular leather used by other competitors, you ask? Well, a couple HUGE things!
- There is no chrome used in the tanning process of the leather we use. Chrome can be very harsh on the environment and can also be highly toxic and carcinogenic for humans. Two things that are not in our interest! We want your babies to be wearing something that will be healthy for them, especially if you expect them to wear them day in and day out!
- The leather used for our moccasins is vegetable-tanned. Vegetables are healthy, right? So, of course, vegetable tanned leather is going to be the healthier option when choosing leather for baby moccasins! No harsh metals. Just veggies.
Our moccs are arguably a better choice when choosing a pair for your little one. Unique design coupled with our health-conscious leather choices make them the only moccasin to consider!
All of the knits in our store are designed and handcrafted. We use no machines in the process of creation. We use 100% American wool, which some would think might be pretty scratchy, but it is the softest and most beautiful yarn on the market. Most of our pieces are available in over 50 colors, giving you the freedom to choose whichever color you want! Because of this style of production, knit pieces generally take about 2-3 weeks to make, depending on workload; although it is worth the wait because you receive a handcrafted knit hat, bonnet,or scarf that is unique and not mass-produced.
